Vehicle Energy Japan Supplier CSR Procurement Guidelines

In association with the spread of globalization and the growing sophistication of the information society, the environment surrounding the company continues to diversify and change greatly. In promoting corporate activities, social demands for consideration of, and action against, various issues such as the environment, human rights, labor and corruption are becoming stronger every day.

In this environment, Vehicle Energy Japan believes that in addition to being responsible with our procurement partners for compliance with laws and regulations, working positively on fulfilling our social responsibilities through corporate activities as a member of society, in other words, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and practicing responsible corporate behavior will lead to the sustainable growth of the supply chain as a whole.

Based on this idea, Vehicle Energy Japan established the Vehicle Energy Japan Supplier CSR Procurement Guidelines in April 2023, aimed at promoting and implementing sustainable procurement thoroughly.

These guidelines inform procurement partners about the company’s efforts and cover the issues that we would like procurement partners to observe in the Code of Conduct for Procurement Partners, based on seven major items. Please refer to the Supplier CSR Procurement Guidelines for details.
